State President
I'm honestly just peeing my pants thinking about this upcoming school year and all the amazing opportunities before us! We are so fortunate to be given the "moment in the spot light" to make a difference. A real difference that not only affects our councils and schools, but our communities. I'm not sure the world could have picked a finer set of people to spear-head the campaign for a better, more optimistic world. This year, as problems arise, I hope you can keep one thing in mind...that through the power of your diligent determination and the love within your council family, the problem will seem but a pebble in your shoe. Never forget you're amazing people with amazing talents, whose ambitions may seem only but a dream today, can and will be your reality tomorrow. AASC, I love you and I pray you never forget. |

Hey, AASC! It’s that time of year again and we want to make sure that we are making this year one that our students and faculty will never forget! Student Council truly sets the tone for the rest of the campus and by putting in the extra time, effort, and the enthusiasm, you can make 2012 an incredibly magical year. Make sure to keep relationships and bonds with student council close, but also stay connected with the rest of campus. After all, your job is to serve. Molly, Ashlynn and I are always here if you need any extra help or advice, but we really do believe in you! Make this year one worth remembering! |

Welcome back AASC, and get ready for an exciting new year! I hope you are ready to make a difference in your schools AND your state! This summer has been filled with spirit, ideas, and tons of AASC memories, but now it's time to do what we do best - student council. In the words of my good friend Harry Potter: "Working hard is important, but there's something that matters even more - believing in yourself. Think of it this way: every great wizard in history has started out as nothing more than we are now - students. If they can do it, why not us?" You are capable of anything you set your mind to! Just believe in your council, your school, and most importantly (as Harry would agree) believe in yourself. Remember the lessons of AASC and have a marvelous year!
