• Sept 13-16: AASC Fall Leadership/Spirit Conferences (featuring motivational speaker Patrick Maurer, $15/person, schools may bring as many students as they like). Theme: "Leadership ROCKS!"
  • Sept 13: Southern AZ (hosted by Empire HS/Tucson)
  • Sept 14: Central AZ/West (hosted by Centennial HS/Peoria)
  • Sept 15:Central AZ/East (hosted by Coronado HS/Scottsdale)
  • Sept 16: Northern AZ (hosted by Show Low HS)
• Sept 30: AASC mailing to all member schools (all due back by December 17, 2010 as per AASC Charter - 60 days before AASC State Convention convenes):
  • Student state officer applications
  • Outstanding Advisor of the Year applications
  • AASC charter amendment proposal forms
  • Applications for Councils of Distinction
  • Adult Executive Board member applications
  • Council charity and service project recognition applications
  • 2011 AASC State Convention registration forms

November, 2010

• Nov 17: AASC 2010 President/Advisor Luncheon
  Location: Phoenix, AZ - TBA. Cost: $30/person, max 9 per school

December, 2010

• Dec 3-5: NAWD/National Conference on Student Activities (for advisors) Location: Kansas City, MO
• Dec 17: 60 days until State Convention and deadline for:
  • Student state officer applications
  • Outstanding Advisor of the Year applications
  • AASC charter amendment proposal forms
  • Application submission for Councils of Distinction
  • Adult Executive Board member applications
  • 2011 State Convention registration forms for a reduced rate of $85

February, 2011

• Feb 17-19: AASC 2011 State Convention hosted by Blue Ridge High School (Lakeside, AZ). Theme: "Awaken the Hero Within." Registration: $85/person before 12/17/10, $95/person after 12/17/10. Schools may bring max of 10 delegates each, and only AASC members may attend

March, 2011

• Mar 3-4: AASC 2011 State Convention inclement weather backup dates

April, 2011

• Apr 1-3: National LEAD Conference in Stamford, CT
• Apr 15: AASC Leadership Scholarship applications due (must be postmarked 4/15/11 or earlier)

Spring, 2011

• New AASC Event (replacing Turn-Around Trips) TBA

June, 2011

• Jun 22-25: AASC national conference pre-trip: Chicago, IL. Limited attendance via AASC. Estimated cost: $1,200/person, includes airfare, hotel, meals, attractions, bus.
• Jun 25-27: NASC/NHS National Star Leaders Conference in St. Louis, MO. Limited delegates via AASC. Registration cost: TBA. Only AASC and NASC members may attend.

July, 2011

• Jul 6-10: AASC Summer Leadership Camp at Pine Summit Camp in Prescott, AZ. Registration cost: $325/person.
• Jul 12-16: Level 1 Program and Advisor Training Program
